The DT Swiss CRC 1400 SPLINE 45 Center Lock Disc Carbon 28″ wheelset – For cyclocross bikes with aero advantage
The DT Swiss CRC 1400 SPLINE 28″ wheelset for Center Lock Disc brakes with its 45 mm high carbon rims is an aerodynamic chassis for your cyclocross bike. The 240 SPLINE hubs for straight pull spokes are lightweight and robust. The efficient Ratchet EXP freehub not only provides immediate propulsion thanks to its 36 teeth, but can also be easily maintained without tools thanks to the no-tool concept. The spokes were designed with aerodynamics in mind. There are 24 Aerolite spokes on the front wheel and the same number of Aero Comp spokes on the rear wheel. The proven Pro-Lock nipples connect the spokes to the rims. Whether you ride with or without tubes is up to you, as the CRC 1400 SPLINE wheels are tubeless-compatible.

Suitable for use on predominantly paved and partially unpaved ground with a slight slope and a temporary loss of ground contact as well as drops of up to 15 cm.

Pro Lock
The nipple thread is coated with two-component adhesive to increase the durability of the wheels. It can still be re-trued several times without any problems, but the adhesive strength decreases slightly. The connection between the spoke and nipple cannot loosen by itself.

Ratchet EXP
A ratchet and a threaded ring are integrated into the hub. This reduces the number of components required, resulting in less wear and tear and a lower weight. In addition, the heavy-duty and reliable ratchet system can be easily and quickly maintained. The no-tool concept plays a decisive role, as it allows the freehub to be replaced without any tools. The freehub has two ratchets which engage simultaneously. This means that the contact surface is large and the point load is kept small, which relieves the material and allows the freehub to work particularly reliably and precisely.

SPLINE
Straight pull hubs, straight spokes and strong rims result in a durable wheel. It can therefore be reliably used in training and competition.
