The XMC 1501 SPLINE wheelset from DT Swiss is designed for All Mountain riders who value having the least possible weight. The sturdy 27.5″ carbon rims are light, but are reinforced in exactly the right places to withstand the forces of MTB usage. SPLINE construction together with the proven 350 hub makes the wheels a robust components of your bike. Together with 30 mm wide rims, the Boost hub leaves enough room for wide tyres. It also uses the latest DT Swiss freehub technology, the Ratchet EXP. This has 36 teeth, which allow for optimal power transmission. This avoids unwanted idling and your leg power can be effectively converted into propulsion immediately. The disc brake mount for centre lock brake rotors completes the modern standard of these wheels.

Suitable for use in very rough terrain with jumps of up to approx. 120 cm in height and speeds of up to 40 km/h. Very good riding technique is required. The components must be checked for damage after each ride.

Ratchet EXP:
A ratchet and a threaded ring are integrated into the hub. This reduces the number of components required, resulting in less wear and tear and a lower weight. In addition, the heavy-duty and reliable ratchet system can be easily and quickly maintained. The no-tool concept plays a decisive role, as it allows the freehub to be replaced without any tools. The freehub has two ratchets which engage simultaneously. This means that the contact surface is large and the point load is kept small, which relieves the material and allows the freehub to work particularly reliably and precisely.

SPLINE:
Straight pull hubs, straight spokes and strong rims result in a durable wheel. It can therefore be reliably used in training and competition.

Pro Lock:
The nipple thread is coated with two-component adhesive to increase the durability of the wheels. It can still be re-trued several times without any problems, but the adhesive strength decreases slightly. The connection between the spoke and nipple cannot loosen by itself.
