DT Swiss XRC 1200 SPLINE 25 Boost centre lock disc 29″ wheelset – for Cross Country competitions
The XRC 1200 SPLINE wheelset from DT Swiss is the right choice for the next Cross Country race. The 29″ wheels are made from light carbon. The hookless design of the rim saves weight without compromising durability. The slim 180 hub is also light and because it follows the Boost standard, it is made for the intense usage in racing. To convert your power directly into propulsion, the hub has a Ratchet EXP freehub with 36 ratchets. The disc brake mount for centre lock brake rotors completes the modern standard of these wheels.

Suitable for use on rough paved and unpaved ground, with a raised riding technique and occasional drops and jumps of approx. 60 cm.
SINC:
Robust steel bearing rings are combined with ceramic balls. This means that the rolling resistance is low. The rolling resistance is further reduced by the seal on the outside and a protective ring on the inside. Furthermore, the combination of materials prevents corrosion between the ring and balls. This increases the durability of the ball bearings.
Ratchet EXP:
A ratchet and a threaded ring are integrated into the hub. This reduces the number of components required, resulting in less wear and tear and a lower weight. In addition, the heavy-duty and reliable ratchet system can be easily and quickly maintained. The no-tool concept plays a decisive role, as it allows the freehub to be replaced without any tools. The freehub has two ratchets which engage simultaneously. This means that the contact surface is large and the point load is kept small, which relieves the material and allows the freehub to work particularly reliably and precisely.
SPLINE:
Straight pull hubs, straight spokes and strong rims result in a durable wheel. It can therefore be reliably used in training and competition.
Pro Lock:
The nipple thread is coated with two-component adhesive to increase the durability of the wheels. It can still be re-trued several times without any problems, but the adhesive strength decreases slightly. The connection between the spoke and nipple cannot loosen by itself.
