DT Swiss XRC 1501 SPLINE 30 Boost centre lock disc 29″ wheelset – carbon wheels for the Cross Country bike
With the XRC 1501 SPLINE wheelset from DT Swiss you can equip your Cross Country MTB with wheels made from carbon. The 29″ wheels have reinforced rim walls without hooks, which saves weight. The 240 hub is manufactured following the Boost standard and can therefore withstand high loads. This way, in combination with the 30 mm inner rim width, you can mount extra wide tyres onto your MTB. The hub has a Ratchet EXP freehub with 36 ratchets. This immediately transforms your leg power into propulsion and avoids unwanted idling when you start pedalling. The disc brake mount for centre lock brake rotors lets you control your bike in any situation.

Suitable for use on rough paved and unpaved ground, with a raised riding technique and occasional drops and jumps of approx. 60 cm.

Ratchet EXP:
A ratchet and a threaded ring are integrated into the hub. This reduces the number of components required, resulting in less wear and tear and a lower weight. In addition, the heavy-duty and reliable ratchet system can be easily and quickly maintained. The no-tool concept plays a decisive role, as it allows the freehub to be replaced without any tools. The freehub has two ratchets which engage simultaneously. This means that the contact surface is large and the point load is kept small, which relieves the material and allows the freehub to work particularly reliably and precisely.

SPLINE:
Straight pull hubs, straight spokes and strong rims result in a durable wheel. It can therefore be reliably used in training and competition.

Pro Lock:
The nipple thread is coated with two-component adhesive to increase the durability of the wheels. It can still be re-trued several times without any problems, but the adhesive strength decreases slightly. The connection between the spoke and nipple cannot loosen by itself.
