The Fulcrum Speed 55 CMPTZN carbon wheelset is synonymous with total road bike performance, as it has been modelled on competition wheels from World Tour pros. The carbon rims are extremely light and enormously stiff due to the two-to-one lacing pattern, which ensures excellent acceleration behaviour. The CULT ceramic ball bearings impress with excellent smooth running and are extremely durable. Thanks to the 19 mm inner rim width, you have a choice of tyre widths from 23 mm to 50 mm. Just choose according to the terrain you want to ride. Since the wheels are tubeless-ready, you decide for yourself whether to ride with or without tubes.

Ceramic Ultimate Level Technology for ball bearings is characterised by particularly hard, corrosion-resistant stainless steel, whose top layer is extremely resistant. The abrasion remains very low, and only a thin layer of oil is required for lubrication, so a lot of grease can be left off. This allows the ceramic balls to follow their path very precisely.

Undrilled Rim Bed
The rim bed is continuous and has no holes for nipples. The nipples are inserted over the valve opening and guided with a magnet to the connection point of the rim. This eliminates the need for rim tape, increases the durability of the rim and allows the spokes to be tensioned more, resulting in greater stiffness.

Two-to-One Spoke Ratio
In order to avoid energy loss, two-to-one wheels are equipped with double the number of spokes in critical areas. In the case of rear wheels, this takes into account the increased forces on the drive side. Front wheels have twice as many spokes on the side of the brake rotor.
