The E-XM 430 Disc 29″ rim has been designed by Mavic to meet the needs of modern E-Mountain bikes, which reach higher speeds and release greater forces on the trail. An e-bike rim must therefore be able to take more punishment than other aluminium rims. The E-XM 430 is 30 mm wide and was assembled using the sleeve process. A shaped section is pressed evenly into both ends of the rim profile – a good alternative to welding. The rim has no eyelets and is tubeless.
