The Shimano 105 RD-5701 10-speed rear derailleur features the Wide-Link design tried and tested on Dura-Ace and Ultegra, which ensures particular stability thanks to a larger distance between the bearing points and wider parallelogram bodies. This also maintains the precise shifting function for longer. Both the outer and inner cages of the rear derailleur are made of lightweight aluminium.
