DoubleTap® is a technology that simplifies and speeds up the gear change. There is only one fluid motion: a short tap is enough to upshift, and to shift to a lower gear, the lever is simply pushed further down.

Longer brake levers, independent reach adjust for the brake and shift levers, and optimized hood shape give riders of any size comfort and easy access to the controls.

Exact Actuation™
For the first introduction of its road bike technologies, SRAM has once again used the proven SRAM MTB 1:1 gear ratio for 10-speed shifting (shifter cable travel : derailleur movement). Exact Actuation™ helps to achieve a simpler and more stable balance between the design of the rear derailleur suspension, tight cog spacing and exact cable tension. The result: a shifting system that is child’s play to operate.

Reach Adjust:
The fit and ergonomics of the brake lever is a very personal matter. Riders have individual position preferences as well as unique hand sizes and finger lengths. With the reach adjustment, the lever can be easily adjusted – for maximum control with just one finger.

Zero Loss technology ensures that no loss of movement is felt when shifting gears. When a gear is shifted up or down, the cable is triggered immediately, ensuring zero loss of movement. There is no more idle time where you’re waiting for the the gear to engage. The gear shift occurs immediately and, above all, precisely.
