The W25i Alu EVO3 Disc Center Lock 28″ wheelset by Syntace consists of gravel wheels with which you are optimally equipped on all surfaces. Instead of just inexpensively plugged and glued, the rim was welded. As a result, it is stiffer and runs rounder. Thanks to a tread pattern with a retaining groove, you are guaranteed a better fit of the tyre. This makes the rim a good 25 % more stable. You can therefore also use tyres for which you would otherwise need 2 mm wider rims. Tubeless tyres are also easier to fit. When stored, it also ensures a more even tension of all spokes. For even greater stability and steering precision, the EVO3 Standard was developed. This means that the spoke angles have been approximated. As a result, the angles are equal in the front wheel and largely equalised in the rear wheel. Another advantage is that you only need one spoke length in the complete wheelset. The ratchet freehub is more robust than ever. Instead of 36 teeth, this is now equipped with finer engagement of 45 teeth. This is particularly noticeable in tricky places. The special extra stable 30 mm ball bearings are triple protected. On the one hand, double Dura-Seal sealing caps cover the hub bearings, and on the other hand, these bearings are filled with special bearing grease that has a more than 25 % higher water absorption capacity, improved corrosion inhibitors and a high oil bleed temperature. So dirt and dust don’t stand a chance. This wheelset is simply ideal for riding in any weather – whether on gravel, tar or mud.

The entire hub is shifted by 3 mm from the centre on the drive side. In addition, the hub flange on the brake side of the Syntace Straight Road hub moves closer to the centre of the hub, the hub flange on the drive side shifts slightly outwards. The result is an almost symmetrical and therefore more stable wheel.

Stronger Than The Spoke:
Much more crack-resistant spoke anchoring in the rim base thanks to SmoothFit profile. Perfectly angled nipple embedded in the rim well. More durable than previous rim bottoms or mere shims that add weight to the rim but do not reinforce the edge of the spoke hole.

V-Shape:
Inclined, massively reinforced rim flanges with a tread with a retaining groove for the best possible tyre fit, the result of rigorous testing. 25 % higher stability than the multiple test winner and predecessor W35.

3x Protected Bearings:
New double Syntace Dura-Seal sealing caps (Pat. pend.) protect the Syntace precision hub bearings which are now sealed on both sides. Filled with special grease, which has a more than 25 % higher water absorption capacity, further improved corrosion inhibitors and a high oil bleeding temperature.

Steel Inserts:
Patented, form-fit steel bars transmit power from the freehub body made of 7075 aluminium to the sprocket set every 120°. Meant especially for high torques in MTB, this is an insurance against inseparably twisted pinion assemblies. Easily replaceable. (License American Classic /USA)

Bearing Play Micro-Adjustable:
The new test bench-optimised hub body made of 7050 aluminium is trued by Syntace MicroAdjust caps, which are also new, scaled and now splash-proof. Also with different quick release or thru-axle tightening torques.
