ZIPP 101 XPLR Carbon Tubeless Center Lock Disc 27.5″ Wheelset

The 101 XPLR Disc wheelset in 27.5″ was specifically designed by Zipp for gravel use. It ensures a smooth ride on unpaved roads thanks to the single-walled carbon rims, also known as Moto Technology™, for a smooth ride. The wheels with a 27 mm jaw width and hookless rim flanges are designed for tubeless setups and low tyre pressures.

Instead of the traditional boxy rim cross-section, the Zipp MOTO and XPLR rims use a motorsport-inspired single-wall design that is ideal for enduro, trail and gravel. It lets the rim virtually swing in the spoke bed when you’re on rough terrain. The rim edges give way as soon as the wheel hits an obstacle, which feels like extra suspension. This design combines lateral stiffness, torque efficiency, radial compliance, shock absorption, durability and ride quality, which all add up to one thing: more speed.
